This typeface was turned down by a publishing company in Germany because it was unorthodox. On the day AM.Cassandre’s death was discovered, the rejection letter from the company was found in his office. Later, this typeface was used in relief to write the messages which decorated the walls of the Winter Olympics Center in Flaines, Francce.
This typeface was never published. It was the last typeface designed by AM.Cassandre. It was named « le Cassandre » after his death.
